Travelling to New York City with Target Tours has been a dream come true for me. It was so relaxing to not worry about directions, traffic and being tired. The driver was so capable of handling all of the environments we drove in. There was also plenty of quick stops for snacks and bathroom breaks. The restaurants we stopped at for meals were great home cooked food with quick service. The travelling part of the trip, there & back, was nothing but relaxing. Merv, our tour director, gave us loads of advice on how to navigate the streets and vendors of NYC. We used many of his great tips on our adventures. We were confident enough to use the subway from his advice and it went great. The shows included in the trip were top notch and were among the highlights of the whole weekend. There was an excellent amount of free time every day for us to explore the city on our own. The 4 hour guided tour with Jimmy was one of the best parts of the entire trip! Merv gave great advice on where to eat in NYC. The entire vacation was dreamy and I can't wait to do it again someday!

The tour directors have all been available, helpful, have had a good sense of humor and made the trips memorable. The accommodations have always been more than adequate. It is always nice when there can be a two-night stay in one place during the trip. The days are organized to have a mix of formal touring and free time.

A tour itinerary that’s a perfect blend of pre-planned excursions with free time to explore destinations at your own discretion. Our Moderately Active tours can include some, or all, of the following: flights in excess of 5 hours and/or overnight, longer days including guided tours, extended walking on uneven terrains like cobblestones streets/sidewalks, steep hills and multiple sets of stairs with or without handrails, lifting and carrying your own luggage for longer distances at hotels, airports & cruise terminals, some late nights and early morning starts, an itinerary that explores 4 cities or more, where buses are not permitted
Your emergency contact should be someone who is prepared to assist in case you or your travel companion must leave the tour unexpectedly, most commonly due to unexpected medical issues. They should be aware they are your emergency contact, have a copy of your itinerary, as well as a copy of your passport and insurance information. They must be ready, willing and able to travel to be at your bedside. As well, they should be ready, willing and able to assist in transporting you home as needed. This individual will be responsible for contacting your insurance company in the case where you and/or your travel companion are unable to do so yourselves and will require these details in order to assist you in an emergency. If you would like to add or make a change to who you have listed as your emergency contact please contact Target Tours at least 30 days prior to your trip.
Your tour price does not include travel protection. If you have travel protection, we advise you to look into coverage details and confirm if there is a deductible, if you need to pay up front, and where to call for help. We highly recommend medical, trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage. For international tours, if you do not purchase travel protection from us, you are required to provide proof that you have alternate travel protection. By joining one of our tours without sufficient emergency medical coverage, you agree not to hold Target Tours responsible for any costs incurred should an emergency medical situation arise.

After your booking is complete and deposit is paid, you will receive a copy of your receipt from WeTravel and we will follow up with more information and details about your tour such as tour highlights, payment dates and helpful tips. If you have any questions about your tour, our office hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 4pm. We are here for you, every step of the way!

For Target Tours, a group vacation is a pre-packaged vacation including your transportation, accommodations, meals and activities. We also send a Tour Host with the group to coordinate with suppliers and enhance your experience. These vacations can be booked by single travelers, couples, groups of 3 or more and are intended to offer a safe environment for people to share their experience.
In addition to providing a safe environment, group vacations offer a worry-free travel experience, an opportunity to make last connections with fellow travelers and save some money as well!
Please note that a certain number of booked passengers is required for this departure to be a guided vacation.

If you prefer speaking to a person, you can call our office number at 1-877-214-5367 and talk to one of our team members! Our office hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 4pm.
If you’re tech-savvy, you can book online with our user-friendly online booking portal! Powered by WeTravel, you can book and pay your deposit for your vacation without even leaving the vacation page. You can also create your own account to manage your booking, make payments and fill out our forms!
Departure locations are subject to change based on the requirements of specific trips. Available departure locations will be visible on each tour when you use our online booking. For a general list of our available departure locations, please click here.
Specific departure times and locations will be shared 2 – 3 weeks before your trip when we have confirmed all guest’s departure locations.
For all trips outside of Canada, you will require a valid passport. Generally, for international travel (outside North America/Caribbean) you will require a passport that will be valid 6 months past the date of departure of your trip. Select destinations may require visas or special entry requirements. Should your trip have such a special entry requirement Target Tours will alert you to this during the booking process and assist in preparing those documents.
It is your responsibility to obtain a valid passport and to bring it with you on your trip and to protect it during travel. Should you neglect to bring your passport on a trip that requires a passport it is your responsibility to arrange your return trip home as you will not be able to continue or complete the trip without this document.
Deposits are non-refundable. Once the final payment is made, the trip becomes fully non-refundable and we highly recommend purchase of Travel Protection to protect your investment. For international trips, if you do not purchase travel protection from us, you are required to provide proof that you have alternate travel protection.

Our office team can help you book any additional excursions you have interest in during your vacation or you can opt to join your Tour Host for any of their free-time activities (at an additional cost to you). Your Tour Host can also help you find things to do and book them while you’re on vacation.
We do our best to accommodate any special requests. Any accommodations requests (accessible room, adjoining room, cot, etc) must be submitted prior to final payment and are subject to hotel availability.
