Vancouver & Embarkation

Your Alaskan adventure begins with a flight to Vancouver. After an overnight stay, enjoy a free morning before heading to the port to board the stunning Celebrity Solstice. Settle into life at sea as you cruise through the breathtaking Inside Passage, where rugged coastlines, lush forests, and abundant marine life create a truly unforgettable setting.

Icy Strait Point & Skagway

Your first stop is Icy Strait Point, near the town of Hoonah, where you’ll discover rich Indigenous heritage and the opportunity to spot humpback whales, sea lions, and brown bears. Next, step into the past in Skagway, a Gold Rush town full of charm. Ride the famous White Pass & Yukon Route Railway or explore the historic wooden boardwalks and clapboard buildings that line the streets.

Endicott Arm, Juneau & Ketchikan

Sail through the stunning Endicott Arm Fjord, passing blue-ice glaciers and waterfalls before arriving in Juneau, Alaska’s capital. This unique city offers the perfect mix of rugged wilderness and modern flair—perhaps take a dogsledding excursion or a walk atop a glacier. Then it’s on to Ketchikan, famous for its rich salmon runs, colorful totem poles, and vibrant coastal culture.

Inside Passage & Vancouver

Cruise south again through the Inside Passage, soaking in the peaceful scenery one last time. Back in Vancouver, enjoy a guided city tour and visit the iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge. Share a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers and enjoy one final night in the city before heading to the airport for your flight home.

Important Notes

Below are helpful tips and details about this tour that can help you make the best choice for your vacation.

We’ve created our tour itinerary to allow you a balance of free time and pre-planned activities. Our Moderate tours can include some, or all, of the following: longer travel days including some full day motorcoach touring, flights in excess of 3 hours, navigating moderate hills, staircases without handrails, limited or no access to elevators, an itinerary that explores 2-3 cities, walking up to 2-3km a day, lifting and carrying your own luggage, for short distances, at hotels, airports and/or cruise terminals, busy sidewalks and crowded areas at popular destinations and attractions, tours involving a cruise with multiple stops and free time to explore a port at your own pace
Your emergency contact should be someone who is prepared to assist in case you or your travel companion must leave the tour unexpectedly, most commonly due to unexpected medical issues. They should be aware they are your emergency contact, have a copy of your itinerary, as well as a copy of your passport and insurance information. They must be ready, willing and able to travel to be at your bedside. As well, they should be ready, willing and able to assist in transporting you home as needed. This individual will be responsible for contacting your insurance company in the case where you and/or your travel companion are unable to do so yourselves and will require these details in order to assist you in an emergency. If you would like to add or make a change to who you have listed as your emergency contact please contact Target Tours at least 30 days prior to your trip.

Your tour price does not include travel protection. If you have travel protection, we advise you to look into coverage details and confirm if there is a deductible, if you need to pay up front, and where to call for help. We highly recommend medical, trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage. For international tours, if you do not purchase travel protection from us, you are required to provide proof that you have alternate travel protection. By joining one of our tours without sufficient emergency medical coverage, you agree not to hold Target Tours responsible for any costs incurred should an emergency medical situation arise.
