Here are only a few of our NB tours:
Saint John Day Tour (6-7 hours)
Surround yourself with the magic that is Saint John on this beautiful tour of the area departing from downtown. This fully guided tour provides history and interesting facts as you travel along. Our first stop is at the city market where our guide will provide tips on where to find unique local items. We then continue on to the Reversing Rapids powered by the monstrous tides of the Bay of Fundy. If we complete a full day tour you will be able to see the Reversing Rapids as a tranquil river and then later that day as a powerful and turbulent rapid all due to the tides! The tour will continue to the west side of the city for a panoramic view and photo opportunity. We can include a stop at the Carleton Martello Tower where you can explore a restored powder magazine, barracks room, and more. This site played a pivotal role in the Second World War and you’ll learn why on this tour. Before returning to the Reversing Rapids for your second view, we stop at the quaint village of St. Martin’s to explore the mysterious sea caves.
Fredericton Day Tour (6-7 hours)
We will start your day with a tour of the city. After you are acquainted, we will arrive at Kings Landing Historical Settlement. Here you will experience 19th century brought to life. With 70 historic buildings, 120 costumed interpreters and 75,000 artifacts you will be amazed by the things you will see and do during your visit. Churn butter, catch a barn show, our guide will make sure you see the highlights. We will enjoy dinner nearby or perhaps have a catered picnic before continuing on to the Visitors Reception Centre for some local shopping at the largest museum store in Atlantic Canada, Emporium Gift Store,. When we return to the city we will spend the afternoon at the historic Garrison District, a National Historic Site, that spans a two block area of the city. Tour the Soldier Barracks and Guard House where the British Army was stationed in the late 1700’s before enjoying a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant.
Hopewell Rocks Tour (4 hours)
See the Bay of Fundy at low tide, high tide, or both! Walk the ocean floor at low tide, marvel at the “flower pot” rocks in high tide, and watch the tide rush in inbetween. The interpreters on site explain the wonder of this spectacular area. If you are planning on including this tour on your trip look online at the tide tables to be sure you will visit at a time where you can have the experience you desire. This tour can be combined with a city tour of Moncton.
St. Andrews-by-the-Sea (5-6 hours)
Spend a day or half day in the charming town of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. The town has been granted a National Historic District status as it is one of the oldest in the Maritimes. Take in the architecture, museums, and hospitality of this town during your tour of the area. Your group can go whale watching, explore the Kingsbrae Garden, or explore the shops in the downtown.
St Martins Sea Caves (5-6 hours)
Visit this well-known vacation spot to view the mysterious Sea Caves. Due to the awesome power of the tides and waves, the caves were carved into the sand cliffs and are a fun place to explore during low tide. This can be combined with a local tour and shopping or a visit to a historic lighthouse.
