Manulife Travel Insurance

Manulife Travel Insurance

When you book a tour through Target Tours you may have noticed that we will always ask if you require travel insurance for your trip. Sadly, it’s a reality of the business that on occasion clients have had to cancel their trips before or during their travels due to unexpected events.

As our policy states, all multi-day tours are fully non-refundable after final payment date and the deposits are always non-refundable. This can leave clients who do not elect to purchase Travel Insurance unprotected and we are unable to reimburse them.

In order to avoid this situation we sell the following products. They range in price and are dependent on age, length of tour, and price of tour so they can only be quoted on a case by case basis. Limitations also apply to preexisting medical conditions. Please contact us with these details and we will be happy to quote.

The following are only some of the coverage’s offered by each plan:

Premium Protection Plan  (PPP)

-Only available to people 69 year or younger when buying the plan (69 and older will be advised to consider the “All Inclusive” plan as an alternative to this plan)

We can also sell insurance on any type of travel; it does not have to be booked through Target Tours. If you are planning a trip think of us to provide peace of mind before and during your travels!

Finally, should you have to cancel a tour and use your travel insurance you will only be reimbursed the cost of the trip (should you have a legitimate claim as deemed by Manulife Insurance) not the cost of the insurance itself. Should you purchase travel insurance and Target Tours must cancel the tour due to lack of interest you will be reimbursed any amount that you have paid for the tour in addition to any travel insurance you have purchased through Target Tours.
